Chinese Agate Snuff Bottle – Intricately Carved Dragon, Fish & Floral Decoration
A beautiful and unusual Chinese agate snuff bottle, finely carved with an elaborate raised decoration in warm honey, amber and reddish-brown tones.
The translucent agate body has been skillfully carved and decorated with auspicious mythical/dragon imagery, fish and floral motifs. The natural translucency of the stone allows the light to pass through the body and highlights the depth and variation of the agate.
The bottle is complemented by an attractive orange stone cabochon stopper with dark fitting and metal collar, together with the spoon.
