This uniform lot includes nine matching vintage two-hole sew-through buttons, plus one non-matching bonus button. The primary set of nine is made from mid-century celluloid plastic in a rich burgundy-red tone with a marbled, multi-tonal surface pattern. Each button features a decorative crescent-swirl motif on its front face. The set includes two sizes for coordinated garment placement: one large focal button, measuring exactly 1 1/8 inches in diameter, and eight matching accent buttons, each measuring 3/4 inch in diameter. Every button in the primary set is in excellent vintage condition, with smooth rims, crisp design lines, and clear sew-through holes.The tenth button is a distinctive, unmatched vintage variant included as a complimentary addition to the lot. Although it does not match the rest of the set, it has a complementary dusty rose-burgundy hue, a textured waffle-patterned rim, and a multi-tiered concave center with two sewing holes. This process produced the complex marbled depth visible in this burgundy set. The deep, fluid swirl cut into the button faces is characteristic of late Art Deco and mid-century industrial design.
