Vintage Asian carved figure of a young boy carrying a large ear of corn, mounted on a dark carved wooden stand.

A charming and unusually detailed little figure, with finely carved facial features, hair, clothing, hands, and individual kernels on the corn. Darkened accents throughout the carving highlight the figure. I don’t know what this figure is made of. The figurehas not been professionally tested or authenticated, so it is being sold as pictured.

Measures approximately 4 3/4 inches tall including the stand.

Vintage condition with age-related wear and discoloration. There is a small tight crack approximately 1/4 inch long on the back of the garment, shown in the photographs. I see no other significant damage. Please examine all photographs carefully as they are part of the description.
