Distributed directly to U.S. Army Training Aids Centers during the final year of the Cold War, this official government-issued deck remains in incredible, unplayed condition. This specific deck holds unparalleled historical provenance, coming directly from my old man's personal service gear. He was stationed inGermanyat the absolute peak of world history when theBerlin Wallcame down in 1989. This deck was issued to him during that exact monumental crossroads. While the outer cardboard storage box was opened back then, the internal deck of cards was carefully preserved and remains 100% factory sealed in its original, tight clear cellophane wrapping! The set functions as a complete 53-card deck (Cards 1 through 53) designed to teach soldiers how to identify silhouette profiles, wingspans, lengths, speeds, and ranges of friendly and hostile aircraft—such as the UK Buccaneer featured on the Ace of Spades. The back of each card features an eye-catching, high-contrast red and green graphic illustration detailing air-defense missile systems, radar arrays, and shoulder-fired anti-aircraft weapons. This makes a phenomenal, investment-grade addition to any Cold War militaria display, a unique addition to a playing card collection, or a superb piece of historical military ephemera with deep personal ties to the end of the Iron Curtain.🏭 Publication History & Edition Background

🌴 About Old FloridaVintage
Welcome to my store! I moved down to sunny Florida 6 years ago from up north. Most of the wonderful treasures I list here were cherished pieces kept in my previous northern home. My home here in Florida is quite a bit smaller and has a completely different aesthetic, so I am lovingly sending these items off to find a wonderful new home where they can be appreciated and enjoyed all over again! I also love to find things at estate sales, yard sales and moving sales which we have an abundance of here in SW Florida. I love finding them new homes and saving things from the landfill. Most of my shipping supplies I source from local businesses or my neighborhood and construction sites. I try to reuse and recycle most of my packing supplies too.📦 Shipping & Handling Policy
