Vintage 1974 PUMA GAME WARDEN Dpuble Lockback Folding Hunter Knife Wood Handles:
$175.00

Very nice used 971 Puma Game Warden lockback pocket knife with knife blade & bone/wood saw blade.

5" closed length.

The blade etch is very faint but visible if viewed up close.

A used knife - carried and sharpened.

Each blade locks in tightly, strong snap, no wiggle or loose action.

The control number is 45471, which means that it was manufactured in the 2st Quarter of 1974.

Made in Solingen, Germany.

Frame & bolsters are solid brass.

The handle scales are made of Jacaranda hardwood with no cracks or chips.

The blades are stainless super-keen cutting steel.

(Main blade length ~3.75", overall open length ~8.75").

It can be difficult to close the blades, as the locking mechanisms on these knives are notoriously stiff & exceptionally strong.

Partially opening the 2nd blade can make it much easier to close the 1st blade (just a little trick I discovered).

There are scuffs & scratches & signs of age & wear, typical for knives of this age & type.

The knife is in very good condition & has years of use left to offer.

Please see photos as they are part of the item description. I suggest using the zoom feature on your device to see more detail regarding condition and imperfections.

No sheath.

The knife shown in the photos is the exact knife that you will receive.

All knives will be shipped promptly to you in a sturdy corrugated box.
