A rare archival museum-grade find: an authentic late-1970s vintage Christian Dior Eau Sauvage, in the extra-large 224 ml (7.5 fl. oz.) splash flacon.
Created in 1966 by the legendary Edmond Roudnitska, Eau Sauvage is widely regarded as one of the greatest masterpieces in perfume history. This bottle dates to the late 1970s / circa 1980, presented in the coveted faux burl wood box (Réf. 9708) bearing Dior's historic 30, Avenue Hoche address.
Predating barcodes and decades of IFRA restrictions, this original composition features genuine, unrestrained San Donato bergamot, Hedione, herbal aromatics, and a base drenched in authentic natural oakmoss (Evernia prunastri).

Juice Color: Retains its clear golden-citrus hue with clean transparency.
Flacon & Cap: Designed by Pierre Camin. Rippled clear glass with the silver mesh band and knurled silver screw cap. Cap screws down tightly with an intact interior seal.
Packaging: Complete with original brown burl wood effect box. Box shows honest edge/corner shelf wear and rubbing consistent with a 45+ year-old piece, structurally solid.
