The headline is “Chicago Bank Names Cohn in $1 Million Suit.” The article says Guaranty Bank & Trust Co. of Chicago filed a federal civil suit seeking $1,065,329, alleging losses of $565,329 on nine loans and seeking an additional $500,000 in punitive damages

According to the clipping, the bank alleged that Cohn had “improperly, negligently and wrongfully” caused it to make the loans between August 1966 and August 1967. It identifies Cohn as having been chairman of Guaranty from July 1966 to January 1967 and a member of its advisory board in February and March 1967.

The article is particularly interesting because it appeared while Cohn was simultaneously dealing with a separate federal criminal prosecution in New York.
