Lot of 10 vintage First National Stores Inc. advertising pencils, believed to date approximately to the 1930s-1950s, before the “Finast” rebrand. Classic yellow pencils with pink erasers and metal ferrules, all marked No. 2Includes 4 unsharpened pencils and 6 previously sharpened pencils in varying lengths. Lettering/imprint varies slightly between pencils, likely representing different production runs.Nice piece of early American supermarket/grocery advertising history. First National Stores was a major New England grocery chain and predecessor to the later Finast name.Vintage used condition with age-related wear, marks, finish loss and wear to some of the lettering. Erasers are original-looking and have not been tested. Please see photos for condition and individual pencil lengths.
