Vintage 19" Famille Rose Vase PCT Japanese Porcelain Hand Decorated Hong Kong:
$495.00
Spectacular large-scale vintage Famille Rose porcelain vase, measuring approximately 19" tall.
This striking presentation vase combines a Japanese porcelain body with elaborate Hong Kong decoration. The base retains both original marks: “Japanese Porcelain Ware” and the red circular “P.C.T. Hand Decorated in Hong Kong” decorator's mark.
The vase is richly decorated in the traditional famille rose/Guangcai taste, with large figural reserves surrounded by an exceptionally dense millefleurs (“thousand flowers”) ground. Scenes include elegantly dressed women in traditional settings, surrounded by colorful floral, botanical and auspicious motifs. Extensive bright gold detailing and elaborate applied gilt ornaments around the neck and shoulders give the piece extraordinary dimension.
The combination of the densely decorated surface, large scale and dramatic silhouette makes this an exceptional statement piece for a maximalist, Grandmillennial, Chinoiserie or Asian-inspired interior.
Marks: P.C.T. Hand Decorated in Hong Kong; Japanese Porcelain Ware
Dimensions: Approximately 19" H × 9" W at widest point
Period: Vintage, mid-20th century; likely circa 1950s–1970s
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Applied decorative elements are intact. Enamel colors remain exceptionally bright and the extensive gilding presents beautifully. Please review photographs for the complete condition and decoration.
This is a substantial, highly decorative vintage porcelain piece and will be carefully packed for shipment.
