An authentic vintage mid-century fraternal pocket watch winding key fob charm for Psi Omega (\Psi\Omega), the prestigious international professional dental fraternity.
This original heirloom piece belonged to Dr. Guy Sullivan O’Brien, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Dr. O'Brien completed his undergraduate studies at Furman University (B.S. 1954) before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1958 from the world's founding dental institution: the University of Maryland School of Dentistry (Baltimore College of Dental Surgery). Following dental school, he served as a Captain and dentist in the United States Army Dental Corps (1958–1961) before entering private dental practice.
Because the University of Maryland hosts the historic founding Alpha Chapter of Psi Omega, this key features both the raised chapter designation and his period hand-engraved monogram on the reverse.
