This listing is for a vintage BEST brand brass padlock from the Fisher Body Plant 2 in Flint, Michigan the birthplace of General Motors and featuring the initials "F. B. No. 2. This super (find another) rare collectible item holds historical significance and serves as a unique piece of automotive manufacturing memorabilia from the past. Its sturdy brass construction and distinctive design make it a desirable item for collectors of locks, keys, and vintage hardware. There is a key with it but it doesn’t open the lock, not sure if the lock needs to be lubed or if it’s not the correct key….so being sold as a non working, for parts or repair padlock but considering it’s rarity and historical significance to General Motors and it’s birthplace in Flint Michigan it’s still an excellent piece of history ready for display !!
