So much history here! What a collectible! Maison Blanche department store sold a limited number of these specialty stuffed elephants when the 1988 Republican National Convention (George H.W. Bush) was held in the New Orleans Superdome. Maison Blanche was in a bankrupt status at that time and shortly after they sold most of their stores to Dillard\'s.
