Description:
Original Art Deco perfume bottle “La Violette” designed by René Lalique for Gabillia, France, introduced in 1925. This well-known Lalique model features a compact rounded glass body decorated with molded violet flower motifs enhanced with deep blue enamel and retains its original matching stopper.

The bottle is moulded in clear glass with applied blue enamel detailing. It is signed “R. Lalique Made in France” on the base. The form, decoration and signature correspond to the documented La Violette model produced for Gabillia during the mid-1920s.

Designed by René Lalique and manufactured in France for Gabillia, this perfume bottle is a recognised Art Deco design, represented in major museum collections and recorded in international sale catalogues, where it is regarded as one of Lalique’s classic floral perfume bottles of the period.

Height without stopper: approx. 2.76 in (7.0 cm)

Depth: approx. 0.98 in (2.5 cm)

Condition:
Overall good vintage condition. The bottle itself is sound. There is a small chip on the lower edge of the stopper. The vertical lines visible on the neck area are factory moulded relief folds and not hairline cracks. No cracks. Enamel remains well preserved. Please refer to the photos for full condition details.
