Up for sale is this rare, very early Red Cross flag. Smaller vehicle or tent sized of 16X12 inches, perfect for framing. Made of rough cotton linen, double sided. Hand sewn or treadle sewn, unquestionably early to mid 20th century, most likely circa WWI. Tied to it's original staff which is also heavily patinated. Rare survivor. Some staining, including scattered small, dark brown spots. See photos.
