Rare 1933 Chicago World's Fair Salt & Pepper Shakers Metal Art Deco Souvenir Set:
$74.99
This is a rare, iconic, and highly desirable set of vintage souvenir salt and pepper shakers from the 1933-1934 Chicago "A Century of Progress" World's Fair.
Design & Style: The shakers are made of cast metal with a silver/pewter finish. The sharp, geometric lines and tiered tops are a perfect representation of the Art Deco / Streamline Moderne aesthetic central to the 1933 Fair.
Historical Significance: These items were sold as premium souvenirs at the Fair, and original matched sets are highly valued by World's Fair memorabilia collectors.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The metal structure is solid. The silver finish shows patina, tarnish, and wear consistent with age, which adds to its antique collectible look.
