Up for sale is a rare and highly collectible vintage 1962 Canadian-made Fleur de Lis Green Beret featuring an embroidered U.S. Army 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) Vietnam War beret flash. 

During the early Vietnam War years (1961–1965), U.S. Army Special Forces personnel frequently sought out commercial and military-issue Canadian green berets produced by Dorothea Knitting Mills (Toronto) due to their superior dark rifle-green wool, fit, and high-quality leather rim construction.

Maker Stamp: Features a clear, crisp silver diamond maker's stamp reading:

Wool Shell: Dark rifle green wool retains great shape with clean texture. 

Sweatband & Eyelets: Black leather trim headband shows minor edge wear/creasing from age and handling. Dual metal ventilation eyelets are intact and secure. 

Flash Insignia: Features the iconic 5th Special Forces Group yellow and red diagonal stripe flash stitched securely to the front.
