$399.00
For your consideration is this beautiful and rare platter made by Pirkenhammer of Germany, around 1893-1918. Pirkenhammer is a porcelain manufacturer whose work dates back to the early 1800's.The mark of the crossed hammers is the Pirkenhammer symbol. This gorgeous platter has a beautiful band of navy blue trim with an intricate gold floral pattern surrounding the platter's edge. This platter is so pure with no scratches, crackling or chips. The green hammers marking on the reverse is followed by a stamped imprint. This remarkable piece has been in my family for over 50 years, and was used only for display. It remains in truly excellent condition.Related Items:
