These distinctive globe table lamps were produced by Massive of Belgium, combining softly illuminated opal glass globes with sculptural, spiral-shaped metal bases.

Each lamp features a spherical white glass globe measuring 15 cm in diameter, held within a continuous coiled metal structure that wraps around the globe and continues down to form the base. When illuminated, the opal glass diffuses the light into a warm, atmospheric glow, while the metallic spiral creates a striking contrast around the softly glowing sphere.

The combination of spherical glass, polished gold-tone metal and the playful spiral construction gives the pair a distinctly 1970s character. Their design sits comfortably between Space Age and Hollywood Regency, bringing together the futuristic fascination with geometric forms and the more glamorous use of warm metallic finishes associated with Regency interiors.
