Up for sale is a rare, authentic piece of WWII military history: an original U.S. Ordnance brass "Spider Web" Anti-Aircraft Front Sight (Part Number B197187).

Originally designed for the Browning AN/M2 .30 caliber machine gun, these sights were essential for gunners tracking fast-moving aircraft targets. They were also frequently adapted for standard ground-based M1919 series weapons pressed into the anti-aircraft role.
