Original Rare Antique Photo of Bass Reeves Legendary Old West Lawman:
$400.00

Very rare original photo of legendary lawman Bass Reeves. Reeves is said to be the inspiration for the Lone Ranger and is one of the most highly regarded lawmen of all time. This photo belonged to my great great Grandfather's brother who himself was a legendary lawman serving as a US Deputy Marshal and Deputy to Sheriff Buck Garrett in Ardmore Oklahoma. I now own many of his personal belongings and this was amongst his photographs. He had many photos including some of the most notable lawmen of the era. Something to take note of when looking at the photos is the mole on the side of Reeve's right eye. I don't think there are very many photos of Bass Reeves making this photo exceedingly rare. The photo measures 3" x 4"
