Pierce, Butler & Pierce steam gauge featuring brass frame, silver insert with black graphics, glass face, and 3 13/16 inch back frame diameter. Face plate is marked Pierce, Butler, & Pierce Mfg. Co. - Trade Mark - Registered April 12, 1895 (the 5 could be a 3 or an 8, it is difficult to make out) and sports a logo marked Ashcroft Mfg. Co. - Bridgeport & New York - 1895 - Warranted - Solid Drawn Tube. Total length with the valve stem is about 6 1/4 inches.
