📐 DESCRIPTION:

Up for sale is a beautiful piece of vintage mid-century Australiana. This wooden serving tray was handcrafted by "Australian Mulga" in Melbourne, Victoria. It features a stunning, detailed marquetry/inlay map of the Australian continent, utilizing a mosaic of distinct native timbers.

An incredible feature of this specific item is the fully intact, original paper label on the reverse side. The label details exactly which regional wood represents each state, including WA Black Bean, NT Maple, QLD Walnut, SA Red Gum, NSW Camphor Laurel, VIC Cedar, and TAS Walnut.

The tray features stylized chrome-look metal handles on the sides and an elegant brass/metal railing running along the top and bottom borders. Perfect as a functioning barware tray, vanity display, or a statement centerpiece for an MCM collector.
