Vintage lead souvenir building bank:Lamar Life Insurance Company.Great condition, pale gold finish.
I believe it was made in the 20's by A. C. Rehberger.
This is NOT the more common and later Banthrico version, but the earlier, more detailed, heavier version of the Jackson, Mississippi Corporate Headquarters.
It is made of lead and stands 4 ¾" tall on a 2½" by 3½" base.
Around the base it reads: "Lamar Life Building - Home Office - Lamar Life Insurance Company - Jackson, Mississippi- The Pride of the South".
