Prince Ranier III of Monaco and American Actress Grace Kelly met in 1955 and married on April 19, 1956. She became Princess Grace and retired from show business. This ashtray commemorates their marriage. It’s in excellent condition with n chips, cracks or flakes. It appears to have been kept in a drawer and never used. The gold leaf cigarette rests and scrolled design are perfect, as is the center rendition. The picture represents a 2F French postage stamp that was issued on the day they married. The back is marked with two stamps. One says “F M LIMOGE FRANCE”. The other says “Label de Qualite’ “. This ashtray is 4-1/16” I. Diameter and stands 1/2” tall.
