The individual bowls are exquisitely decorated with traditional Makie-style lacquer artwork featuring Japanese folding fans (Sensu), lush peonies (Botan), and chrysanthemums (Kiku) in brilliant gold, red, and white tones over a deep glossy black background. The interior of the main tub is finished in a vibrant vermilion red, creating a stunning presentation for family gatherings and Japanese dining.
