Authentic Japanese Hagi ware tea bowl (chawan) made by Morishige Eitetsu (守繁栄徹), a Hagi potter associated with the Renkozan kiln in Yamaguchi, Japan.

The inscription on the original wooden box identifies the piece as a Ko-Ido Chawan (小井戸茶碗).

The bowl features the warm earthy tones and soft white glaze characteristic of Hagi ware. The base bears the artist’s mark.
