Early Antique Neapolitan Terracotta Creche Figure Women 7-1/4":

This is a early antique creche figure. Her original outfit is complete, and she has some wear to her face. She has an expressive carved face with enameled eyes and wonderful details. Her body is cloth but the cloth and stuffing on her legs to body is gone and there is just metal, one hand is missing one is till there, and the paint that is chipped away show she has metal hands. She has green pom poms on her shoulders. I will be listing some more of these figures. This is a very early creche figure, Circa 18th century. Measures about 7-1/2" tall. There is a metal post that is at the bottom of her foot and it may be how she was attached to a wood base.
