Impressive Large Italian Capodimonte Figural Porcelain Urn Vase

Add dramatic Italian elegance to your interior with this exceptionally large and elaborately decorated Capodimonte porcelain urn vase.

Standing approximately 22.25 inches tall to the highest point of the handles, the vase features a richly detailed hand-painted landscape filled with architecture, trees and water. The front is decorated with an extensive three-dimensional figural scene rendered in high relief, creating remarkable depth and visual impact.

Two sculptural dolphin-form handles frame the flared neck and are accented with gray shading, black painted details and gold decoration. The vase is supported by a raised pedestal base embellished with hand-painted gilt ornamentation.

The underside bears a crowned “C” mark reading:

CAPODIMONTE

Made in Italy

It is also marked with the model or production numbers 1366/55 and 1289.

This is a substantial statement piece suitable for a formal living room, entryway, mantel, display cabinet or Italian-inspired interior. Its large scale, sculptural relief and extensive hand-painted decoration make it especially appealing to collectors of Capodimonte and ornate European porcelain.

Approximate height to the top of the handles: 22.25 inches.
