Item: Clock casing with hinged glass top, button latch. The back is numbered on top 70869.It also has a stamp mark, \"Patented Dec 31,1901 No. 689899 Chelsea Clock Co. Boston, USA\".Based on other similar case information, this would have been for a 1920s era ship clock.It is a very heavy metal...looks to be brass. Listing is for the CASE ONLY.Our Opinion of Condition: Very good to excellent preowned condition - for it\'s age of over 100 years old.There is considerable discoloration or corrosion as we tried to show in pics. Glass is intact.
Measures about: 7 1/4\" overall diameter, appx 5 3/8\" glass area.
