California MOTORCYCLES OK regulatory sign.

Up for sale today is this MOTORCYCLES OK sign. Made to the exact standards used by California on its highways. This sign was installed below signs stipulating the restrictions on an HOV (high-occupancy vehicle, i.e. carpool) lane, to indicate that motorcycles were permitted to use the lane regardless of passenger count. The "MOTORCYCLES OK" sign became obsolete when policies changed to allow motorcycles by default and not only when specifically allowed.

An original of these is very rare to find scrapped. Most of them have vanished from the freeways of California many years ago. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without paying an arm and a leg on the collector's market.

The sign is 22 by 6 inches, and weighs 3 lb. 7 oz.

This is a high quality, non-reflective replica sign printed on heavy steel. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection.
