Antique E. Le Deley (E.L.D.) souvenir postcard booklet featuring views of Le Mans, France, dating to the early 20th century, approximately c. 1905–1915.
The booklet contains approximately 19 attached postcards showing historic scenes around Le Mans, including the cathedral, railway station, bridges, monuments, gardens, streets, and public squares. Many of the cards have bilingual French and English captions.
Each postcard bears the distinctive E.L.D. monogram, identifying the publisher as E. Le Deley of Paris, one of the major French postcard publishers of the period. Individual E.L.D. Le Mans cards from this same series are documented, including No. 6, “La Gare – The Railway Station.” �

Condition varies throughout. There is substantial age-related toning, staining, discoloration, edge and corner wear, and moisture staining to portions of the booklet and some cards. The cover also shows considerable wear. Some postcards remain quite attractive despite the condition. Approximately 19 cards remain; booklet may be incomplete.
