Antique Victorian Silverplate Napkin Ring Engraved “Minnie” – c. 1890s:

Charming antique Victorian napkin ring featuring an engraved oval cartouche personalized with the name “Minnie.” The cartouche is surrounded by decorative flourishes and a finely patterned geometric background, with simple raised borders along the top and bottom.

Based on its design and construction, this piece appears consistent with late-19th-century Victorian napkin rings, likely circa 1880s–1900. The ring is unmarked, so the maker and exact metal composition are unknown. It is believed to be silverplate but has not been tested.

Measures approximately 1¾” in diameter × 1½” high.

The ring shows genuine age and use, including surface scratches, patina, darkening and finish wear. The engraved name remains visible, although somewhat softened from age and wear. It has been left unpolished. Please review all photographs closely for the condition and details.
