MUSEUM GRADE - 135gr HEAVY - Original 1907-1940 Faturan Material / 1970s CraftedTHE STORY: The raw Bakelite material for this Tasbih was produced in Germany during the original Faturan production period 1907-1940 - over 80+ years old. It was kept as old stock for decades. In the 1970s, a master craftsman took this antique original material and hand-cut it into this magnificent 33-bead Tasbih. You are buying 1907-1940 material with 1970s art. WHY THIS IS MUSEUM GRADE:1. The Material (1907-1940 - 80+ Years Old): Real original German Faturan from the first production period has a deep, dark cherry oxblood color that looks almost black in shade and blood red in light. New Faturan is bright orange. This one has over 80 years of natural aging - deep patina, inner bubbles, and a strong, sweet Faturan smell when rubbed. This material is extinct - factory closed in 1940s. 2. The Craftsmanship (1970s): 33 large 14.5mm beads, perfectly spherical, heavy and solid. Total weight 135 grams - proves solid Bakelite, not hollow plastic. The Imam is large and perfectly matched. 3. The Silver: Complete handmade 925 Sterling Silver tassel. Every silver part is stamped 925. It features 2 filigree separator beads and a chain ending with 3 old coins. The silver work is fully handmade. 4. Condition: Excellent vintage. No cracks, no chips, no repairs. Natural 50+ year patina, never over-polished. AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE:Passes light test (glows red/orange), passes UV test, has distinct sweet smell of real German Faturan, heavy 135gr weight.
