Handsome antique American center-draft kerosene lamp by Plume & Atwood (P&A), with the P&A maker’s mark on the ornate pierced cast base and a ROYAL-marked flame spreader. Nickel-plated metal font with decorative floral filler cap and elaborate Victorian-style openwork base. The burner is brass and shows appropriate age and patina. The brass shade/globe holder is a later replacement and is therefore brighter in finish than the original components. An attractive surviving example of late-19th/early-20th-century American center-draft lighting. Wick not included.
