Having lived in California for 50 years, this iconic photo is reminiscent of home. The very best of coastal California; the Lone Cypress. I've seen it in person several times, and this amazing hand tinted photograph is a precious reminder as part of the tree was damaged and broken off in a storm some years ago. Vintage California in it's more natural era. You may see a couple hand tinted photos of this scene, jut since they were each hand done, they look very different. This one is beautifully done with shades of blue used on the ocean, and some darker sift colors in the clouds. The frame is original, as is the back and hardware. We display it on a brass stand. 10" by 12" framed. Excellent, clean, vintage condition with no fading.
