Antique early American hand blown glass three ring etched/engraved decanter set of 2The etching is some type of leaf or floral pattern that goes around the body of both decanters.
I was not able to nail down an exact time frame but I can confirm it is from the first half of the 19th century. They both have pontils that confirm they are handmade and help date them.
They are in good condition and are free from any major chips or cracks. There is some surface wear, scuffs, and nicks but are in great condition for being almost 200 years old. There are also imperfections in the glass that are consistent with age and would have come from the workshop that way.They measure 10 inches tall. 2 inches round at the top with a 1 inch opening and the base measures 3.5 inches round.
