Antique 1902 Russian Photo Portrait Toddler Fur Hat Winter Coat Vintage Frame:
$59.98
This captivating antique portrait photograph captures a fascinating moment in history, dating back to 1902. The crisp portrait features a toddler elegantly dressed in formal, high-end Tsarist Russian winter style, wearing a heavy double breasted woolen overcoat and a classic plush,fur-trimmed hat. The child is beautifully posed on a traditional wooden studio bench, a hallmark of early 20th-century photography. The portrait is gorgeously paired with a genuine antique wood frame from the same era, showcasing rich walnut tones and classic fluted ridges, complete with its original antique glass and its original heavy pulped backing board with authentic flower shaped split rivets. While the original cardboard easel leg on the back has clearly torn away at the hinge over the last century, it will be included in the package. The frame can easily be propped up on a shelf or hung up to make a stunning addition to any collection of vintage photography or historical home decor. Framing Note: Please note that the antique photograph fits very closely in the frame, though it is not a perfectly flush fit right at the edges. Because both the photo and the frame are genuine turn of the century pieces made long before modern factory standardization, slight variations around the margins are completely normal and emphasize the true antique, handmade character of the set. Wood has been reconditioned with butcher block conditioner to revitalize the original look of the wood. Please review all photos as they are considered part of the description. Overall frame size is 10 1/8 x 12 3/16.
