Antique 1800s Hand Woven OVERSHOT COVERLET 84x74 ~Navy & Orange Brown Reversible:

This overshot coverlet measures approximately 84" x 74". It was woven in two sections then stitched together, as was usual in that time period. The colors are navy blue and orangey brown on a greenish gray background; both sides are shown- photos #1 & 2. There are a few light stains, minor weakness at the hem, and some old repairs- see close-ups. The material is somewhat rough to the touch and I'm guessing it is cotton and wool, probably dyed with natural colors.It has an unusual smell, like talcum powder and petroleum- please wash to your standards as I am not an antique textiles expert. Overall, it's a good survivor.
It weighs 3 pounds 9 ounces and will ship free to the lower 48 states only please.
