The child is pictured full-length, wearing a detailed patterned dress.The plate features a highly polished, mirror-like silver-plated surface that cleanly catches reflections and shifts depending on the viewing angle, confirming its authenticity as a true daguerreotype.**Case & Hardware:**
Housed in its original wooden case tray with a pinkish-red velvet inner border track. The portrait is complete with its original arched-top brass mat and decorative gold-colored preserver frame.**Condition Notes:**
