Allentown Pennsylvania Fleet Wing Gasoline Ink Blotter Pennico RARE c. 1935:
$32.95
Advertising card for Fleet-Wing brand "Golden Motor Gasoline" and "Super Ethyl Gasoline" motor oils, issued by the Penna. Independent Oil Company, Inc. (known locally as "Pennico"), based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The card is headed "Available" over a map marked with red dots indicating dealer locations across the company's market territory, alongside an illustration of a period automobile pulling up to a Fleet-Wing filling station. The Fleet-Wing trademark was first used in commerce in February 1932 and formally registered in 1934, so this card was issued sometime after that; a circa 1935 estimate is offered and should be treated as approximate.
