This little shrine is just SO charming. It dates to around 1920, and has a decidedly Art Deco flair to the design. It is a stamped metal case with hinged doors that open to a medal of the Black Madonna. The medal is surrounded by metal, recessed in a wooden case. It has a loop on the back so it can hang from the wall, and metal folding legs so it can stand. It is only 3 3/4" tall, and 2 3/8" wide. It is beautiful and won't disappoint. The piece appears to be tin with various color coatings of copper and bronze. It is light weight thin stamped metal.It is rare and antique, and would make a wonderful gift! Related Items:
