Up for sale is thisgroup of 3 Vintage Glasses: 1) Pair of Art Deco era Farber Bros. "Krome Kraft" amber cocktail/cordial glasses & 2)Römerwine glass.The 6" cocktail glasses feature removable amber glass inserts made bu the famous Cambridge Glass Co. (in Ohio), andiconic "clip on, clip off" chrome holdersintroduced byFarber Brothers (NY) in 1932. These quickly became popular barware pieces during the 1930s-1940s.Römerwine glasses weredesigned in Germany for serving white wines (like Riesling), identifiable by their clear etched bowl atop a green ribbed beehive stem with applied "prunts".Historically, prunts gave drinkers a better grip when eating greasy food with their hands.The clear glass cup on this7.25" Römerfeatures a wheel-etched grape vine design, a traditional touch added to higher-end German and Bohemian table glassware.Based on the height and the applied "raspberry prunts" on the collar, this piece was most likely made by E&A Böcklingin West Germany during the 1960s.
