1926 W512 #23 MONTE BLUE Famous People Strip Card. The W512 Famous People strip card set includes various athletes including baseball players, boxers, pilots and more. Cards feature colored images with player names, teams, and card numbers in the bottom border. Backs are blank. The dates are speculative and other resources will cite different years. The condition is wonderful. The listing forces me to say "clearly visible signs of wear". I'm not an expert on these cards but I don't see visible wear. Purchased from a man in his 50s along with around fifteen other 512 cards he said were his dads. Card was first inside a small plastic bag, which was then inside a thick hard plastic sleeve. Another listing for Monte was priced at $3,499.99 and has been professionally graded. Never gone through the grading thing but am not listing it at $3500. Please take a look at the photos, ask for more if you need them. Base any offers on the pics, ask questions BEFORE offerding as this is an as is listing with no returns.
