Everything You Need To Know About TI

As one of the leading hip-hop artists of the last decade, T.I. has enjoyed a great deal of success. Since 2001, he has delivered nine studio albums, with his 2010 No Mercy album uniquely released during his time in jail. Each of these albums has been successful in its own right, and some of T.I.’s most notable singles include “Dead and Gone,” “Bring Em Out,” and “Live Your Life.”
Formally known as Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr., the rapper was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He was nicknamed “Tip” after another family member, which is where his current stage name is derived from. T.I. started writing and rapping songs when he was nine years old, and he signed with Arista Records in his late teens.
While T.I. is best known for his music and personal style, he is also an accomplished actor and has authored two books. There is also a great deal of interest in his personal life, which has a turbulent perception. The rapper is no stranger to law enforcement, and he was arrested several times during his youth. His most recent arrest occurred in 2011, but he was still able to release music thanks to the help of the Internet.
