Kemperling is the brand and name of an Austrian factory. The company was founded in 1834 in Vienna by the well known turner, Anton Kemperling. Since 1944 it has been in Mattsee. It is run by Dieter Kemperling, the fourth generation of the family in the business. This brandy is about 5 3/4” long, bowl is 1 7/8” tall, 1 5/8” wide. ID 13/16”, depth 1 1/2”. Marked on side of shank only Kemperling/ hand made. No other marks detected.

Saddle Bit is well-seated push fit, 9mm filter, cleaned and polished, showing no bite marks. Stummel is honey colored, one side rusticated, some handling wear, clean rim with some darkening inside front edge, lightly caked bowl. Beautiful bent brandy in nice condition!
