This is a remarkable piece of original art.It shows the Blessed Virgin Mary sitting with a young Christ in her lap. She has her arms around Him as he gently reaches to caress her cheeks. The image is black ink while the artist has hand painted the background paper with metallic gold dappling. Magnificent.
