Eddie Cantor - Early Film & Radio star - Presentation piece 12"x17". The presentation piece includes a signed album page and photo.Cantor was regarded almost as a family member by millions because his top-rated radio shows revealed intimate stories and amusing anecdotes about his wife, Ida, and five daughters. Some of his hits include "Makin' Whoopee", "Ida (Sweet as Apple Cider)", "If You Knew Susie", "Ma! He's Making Eyes at Me", “Mandy”, "My Baby Just Cares for Me”.
From the 1920's through to the 1950's, Cantor was one of America's most popular entertainers. As well as being a Radio celebrity, he appeared in the many films from the silent era through to the talkies (he was offered the lead in 'The Jazz Singer' but turned it down) and was also a popular star on early television shows in the 1950's.
