How fast do I need to pay?All payments are required within 72 hours of sale ending or receiving a combined shipping invoice. If you do not feel you will be able to pay for your order within 72 hours, please contact me prior to sale ending to make necessary arrangements. I will work with you as best as possible (within reason). Users who do not pay will have orders canceled, reported to as a non-payer, items will be relisted/given 2nd chance offer, and you will be blocked from all future purchases.
How do you ship comic books?All comics will come in a poly bag and board. Orders are then wrapped in bubble wrap and secured inside a corrugated shipping box with all negative space filled with packing peanuts. All boxes will come with a fragile sticker visible next to the shipping label. All orders are shipped within 48 business hours of receiving payment.
What shipping service do you use?All orders under a pound are shipped via USPS First Class mail. Orders over a pound will ship via USPS Priority Mail.
What territorieswill you ship to?I only ship to addresses in the US and Canada.
Can you combine shipping if I purchase multiple items?Yes, I will send you a combined shipping invoice. I can ship about 5-6 comics for about the same cost of shipping 1 book via USPS First Class. Once you go above a pound of books, orders will need to be sent via Priority mail. All orders over $250 will require signature confirmation with shipping.
Why does your shipping charge seem a little higher than others?The shipping boxes I use come at a bit of a premium, so I must add a small handling charge. But they are worth it to protect all books during shipping. I pay for all other shipping supplies out of pocket.
Can you ship my order in an envelope or bubble mailer?Absolutely not. In order to maintain the condition of the book, I will only ship in boxes.
Can you take a picture of a book at a different angle or different perspective?I will do my best to accommodate, but I am not a professional photographer and don\'t own a scanner. Basically, if I can take a specific photo with my iPhone, I will.
How are you determining grades for these books?The grades that I estimate for books are made by a combination of CGC grading criteria mixed with my 30 years of comic book collecting. All books are from my personal collection and come from a pet free, smoke free, and climate controlled environment. I do not guarantee any grade for any comic by a third party grader such as CGC or others. Professional grades may be higher or lower than what I have estimated.
Why are you selling your comic collection?I have a collection of about 18,000 individual comic books. I am running out of physical space and need to downsize prior to moving into my new living arrangements. As such, sales of all books are final.
That\'s a lot of books to go through. When will you be listing more?My goal is to list at least one comic box per month, but I may list more/less depending on real world obligations. I would suggest adding me to your favorites and make sure you look at all my listings so you don\'t miss something special.
I really want one of the books you listed. Will you sell it to me at a buy it now price?The short answer is no. In order to be fair to everyone, I am doing sales for only for comics with almost all listings starting at $0.99. But I will wish you luck during the offerding process.
I have a question that isn\'t answered here. What should I do?Feel free to message me. I will respond as soon as possible, usually within 12-24 hours. Don\'t send me a message 5 minutes before the sale ends only to be upset if I don\'t respond quick enough.
I have a question that is answered in the FAQ, but I didn\'t bother to read it. Should I still message you?You can, but odds are you will be mocked by multiple people and most likely will receive a response directing you to this FAQ followed by several LOL\'s.
This FAQ was great and answered all my concerns. Can I buy you a drink?That is quite generous of you, but the best thing you can do is help me find a home for my collection.
