Sir Paul McCartney was born to be a music legend. Born in Liverpool, England, Paul was raised in a working-class family. His father was a jazz pianist on the side of his sales job, which is where Paul initially became interested in musical instruments. Paul’s mother died when he was a teenager, and her legacy became an inspiration for many of the songs he would later write, such as “Let it Be.”
Paul is best known for his work with the Beatles. He originally formed the band with close friend, John Lennon.
