Believe it or not this is the first time I've seen Drew Barrymore driving. Drew was spotted stepping out of a black Range Rover to go to the gym in Los Angeles earlier this week. I have to say, I would have guessed she'd be more of a Prius type but then again, what celebrity doesn't have a Range Rover.
Mr. James Bond aka Daniel Craig was recently seen hanging out in New York City for his collaboration with Land Rover. Craig was in town to assist Land Rover for the live debut of the all-new 2014 Range Rover Sport at the 2013 New York Auto Show.
Apparently, reports now suggest that the superstar earned a handsome $1 million for his appearance at the show which lasted literally 007 seconds.
According to sources that spoke with the New York Post, Land Rover dished-out $1 million to Craig for driving the new 2014 Range Rover Sport onto the stage. As you can see in the video, Craig steps out of the new Rover Sport waves to the crowd, gives a quick smile, and disappears right away.
"He didn’t even give a speech!" said one disgruntled guest.
Land Rover had a very safe comment on Craig's quick appearance and disappearance
"We won’t comment on our relationship with Mr. Craig beyond confirming that Land Rover supports the charity S.A.F.E., of which the actor is a patron, and will continue its charitable efforts with a vehicle donation later this year," a Land Rover rep said.
Whatever the case may be, we'd love to figure out a way to get paid $1 million just for driving a car onto a stage. Wouldn't you?
Move over eBay. Twitter may be the next best thing when it comes to selling your car -- or at least that's what Katie Price thinks. Katie, who we know best for her Range Rover, seems to be bored with the obnoxiously loud bubblegum pink ride. She tweeted to her followers a few hours ago asking if anyone was interested in buying the Rover because she wants to get a new car. Tweeting about it definitely got my attention so maybe Twitter really is the next best thing for celebrities looking to sell their rides.
Who knows what she'll end up with next. Whatever it is I'm hoping it doesn't involve pink, but that's just wishful thinking considering everything Kate Price owns seems to be pink.
Would any of you buy Katie's pink Rover? If not, what celebrity ride would you buy if it was for sale?
Being that Petra Ecclestone is such a big fan of Range Rover's I figured it was only a matter of time before we'd catch her with the all new Rover. Thanks to one of our readers here on CCB, who sent us these photos, we now have the final product of Petra's new customized Rover -- because it wouldn't be Petra's if it wasn't customized in some way.
Petra took it to the guys over at Platinum Motorsport for the upgrades and I have to say, this is one of the first new Rovers I'm actually a fan of. If you look closely you can see that the "Range Rover" badges have been changed to "STUNT" (her husbands last name is Stunt) and I'm sure the plates will have her signature "PSTUNT" as well.
What do you think of Petra's new Rover? At least she didn't go bubblegum pink like she did with her Rolls Royce.
